Prof. Zhihua Zhou from CEMPS/ SIPPE (CAS) visited VastProTech

On November 18, 2021, Prof. Zhou Zhihua, from CAS Center for Excellence in Molecular Plant Science (CEMPS) / Institute of Plant Physiology and Ecology (CAS) and the Key Laboratory of Synthetic Biology (KLSynB, CAS), visited Shanghai VastPro Technology Co., Ltd. Prof. Zhou team's research currently focuses on microbial resources, fungal molecular biology, and synthetic biology of natural products. Prof. Zhou and Dr. Wenfeng Zhu exchanged their major work tasks, find the two sides' technical superiorities and the complementary points for coming cooperative action during this visit. VastProTech staff will work closely with Prof. Zhou's team to carry out research work on the synthetic biology and green synthetic chemistry part for complex natural products. The specific work content of related cooperation is already in progress. We believe that the joint force tasks and outcomes will drive VastProTech's innovative drug projects moving more faster, as while as to do help to the implementation and landing process of original Innovative results in synthetic biology from Prof. Zhou's team.
